Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Effective July 16, 2026
1. Booking
- All tutoring sessions are booked through the scheduling system at nowyouknowtutors.com.
- If the student is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and, by doing so, agrees to this Policy on the student's behalf.
- A session is not confirmed until payment has been received in full (see Section 2).
2. Payment
- Payment is due in full at the time of booking, prior to the scheduled session.
- We accept credit and debit card payments through our online payment processor.
- Sessions may be purchased individually or as part of a multi-session package.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session at no charge.
- Cancellation or reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will be charged the full session fee.
- A student who does not attend a scheduled session without prior notice (a “no-show”) will be charged the full session fee, and the session will not be eligible for a makeup or credit.
4. Tutor-Initiated Cancellations
- If a tutor cancels a session or does not show up as scheduled, Now You Know Tutors will arrange a free makeup session at no additional cost.
- In place of a makeup session, the client may instead request a credit toward future sessions or a refund for that session.
5. Refunds & Credits
- Clients may request a full refund on any unused prepaid sessions or session packages within 7 days of purchase.
- After the 7-day window described in Section 5.1, unused prepaid sessions and packages are non-refundable, except as provided in Section 4.2.
By booking a session with Now You Know Tutors, the client — or the parent/guardian booking on behalf of a minor student — acknowledges and agrees to this Policy. Questions about this Policy can be directed to Now You Know Tutors through hello@nowyouknowtutors.com.
